MXR Model 171 Dual 2/3 Octave 15-Band Graphic Equalizer Vintage Rack EQ

The MXR Model 171 is a vintage American-made dual-channel graphic equalizer designed for studio, PA, instrument, and other professional audio applications.

Featuring two independent channels with 15 frequency bands per channel, the Model 171 provides detailed control across frequencies ranging from 25 Hz through 16 kHz. Each band offers up to ±12 dB of adjustment, making it useful for system tuning, tone shaping, feedback control, and vintage analog audio setups.

The front panel also provides independent channel level controls, channel selection controls, and a switchable 40 Hz filter. Rear-panel connections provide separate 1/4" inputs and outputs for each channel.

This is a well-preserved example of an older MXR rack processor and would make a great addition to a vintage studio, PA rack, or analog audio setup.

Condition:

This equalizer is in very good used condition, especially considering its age.

There are normal cosmetic signs of previous rack use, including some scratches, scuffs, small finish chips, and other light surface wear on the chassis and front panel. The rack ears are intact, and the front panel remains clean overall with all slider caps and control buttons present.

Please review all photos closely for the best representation of the overall cosmetic condition.
