Fender Frontman 212R 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp – Modified – Read Description

The Fender Frontman 212R is a powerful 100-watt solid-state guitar combo offering classic Fender clean tones along with dedicated Drive and More Drive settings for higher-gain sounds.

This example has been modified from its original configuration and shows significant cosmetic and cabinet wear. Please read the complete condition description and review all photos before purchasing.

The Frontman 212R features separate Normal and Drive channels, independent EQ controls, built-in spring reverb, Mid Contour control and a More Drive function for additional gain.

The rear-mounted Pre Out and Power In connections can be used for external effects or other routing applications.

IMPORTANT: The original Fender speakers have been replaced. This amplifier currently contains two Celestion Custom Design G12P-80 12" 16-ohm speakers marked "Exclusively for Line 6." These are not the factory Fender Special Design speakers.

Casters have also been added to the bottom of the cabinet by a previous owner.

Condition:

This amplifier is in fair used condition with modifications and significant cosmetic/cabinet wear.

The most notable issue is separation/damage at the upper-right corner of the cabinet. The covering has pulled away and the underlying cabinet material is exposed along the top and side of this corner. Please review the close-up photos carefully.

There are additional tears, lifting and worn areas in the black covering around the cabinet.

The grille cloth shows noticeable age, discoloration, wear and some pulled/disturbed areas.

The metal corner protectors show oxidation, scratches and general wear.

Caster wheels have been added to the bottom of the cabinet by a previous owner and are not original equipment.

The factory Fender Special Design speakers have been replaced with a pair of Celestion Custom Design G12P-80 16-ohm speakers originally manufactured for Line 6 products.

The cabinet, hardware and exterior show numerous scratches, scuffs, marks and other signs of previous use.

Due to the cabinet damage, replacement speakers and added casters, this amplifier has been priced substantially below a comparable original-condition Fender Frontman 212R.

Please review all photos carefully for the best representation of its condition and modifications.
