Used Peavey Rage 158 TransTube Series 15W 1x8 Guitar Combo Amp – USA Made

The Peavey Rage 158 is a compact, rugged 15-watt solid-state guitar amplifier featuring Peavey's renowned TransTube technology, designed to deliver the warmth, responsiveness, and character of traditional tube amplifiers in a reliable solid-state design.

This USA-made example dates to 2003 and features the classic silver-stripe TransTube Series styling, along with an 8-inch Peavey Blue Marvel speaker. Its compact size makes it an excellent choice for home practice, lessons, and smaller playing environments.

The amplifier features separate Clean and Lead channels, allowing players to move from clear, articulate tones to crunchy overdrive and heavier distortion. The Lead channel includes independent Pre Gain and Post Gain controls for shaping distortion and output level.

A three-band EQ with Low, Mid, and High controls provides additional tonal flexibility, while the Modern/Vintage voicing switch offers different tonal characteristics.
