The 2022 Gibson Les Paul in Translucent Oxblood finish with chrome (nickel) hardware is a solid-body electric guitar from the "Original Collection," designed to replicate the look, feel, and tone of 1950s models. The finish appears very dark, often looking black unless under bright lighting, which highlights the figured maple top beneath.

• Neck: It has a substantial, rounded '50s Vintage neck profile made of mahogany, paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and classic acrylic trapezoid inlays.
• Hardware: All hardware has a nickel finish, including the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons.
• Electronics: It is equipped with calibrated Gibson Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) humbucker pickups, loaded with Alnico 2 magnets for warm, PAF-style tones. The controls are hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors.
