Description

This Danelectro FAB Overdrive (D-2) is a budget-friendly electric guitar effects pedal. It simulates the natural, warm breakup of a fully cranked tube amplifier. It features a lightweight plastic enclosure, top-mounted jacks, a bright blue LED

Control Layout

• Level: Adjusts the overall output volume, allowing it to function as a clean or boosted volume signal.
•

• Tone: A passive filter that rolls off high frequencies to darken or brighten the sound.
•

• O.D. (Overdrive): Controls the amount of gain and clipping introduced to your signal.

Key Features & Sound Profile

• Tone Character: Offers a thick mid-range hump, often compared to a darker, less bright version of the classic Tube Screamer.
•

• Power Requirements: Operates via a standard 9V battery or an optional 9V DC power adapter.
•

• Circuit Origin: Designed as an affordable circuit inspired by vintage Japanese overdrive units like the Vesta Fire / Nadine's Overdrive
