Description

This Fulltone PlimSoul is a dual-stage overdrive and distortion guitar effects pedal that combines soft-clipping and hard-clipping circuits.

Sustain Control Description

• Function: The Sustain knob controls the amount of drive, compression, and saturation in Stage 1 (the soft-clipping circuit).
• Tone Range: At lower settings, it offers clean-to-mild bluesy boosts; turning it up increases compression, smooth sustain, and feedback qualities similar to a classic overdrive like a Tube Screamer or Fulltone's own Full-Drive.
• Interaction: It operates independently of or blends into Stage 2 (the hard-clipping circuit), allowing you to shape how the soft-clipped sustain interacts with firmer British-style tube distortion.
