The Gibson SG-100 (circa early 1970s) is a unique variant of the SG line that diverges from the typical SG formula: it features a solid maple body (rather than the usual mahogany) and a set maple neck, giving it a somewhat brighter tonal character. It was produced during a short run (around 1971-72) as part of Gibson’s budget/entry SG models (alongside the SG-200 and SG-250) and typically comes with a single-coil pickup in the neck position. This particular guitar has many hours of play and tons of character building wear. Take a good look at the pictures for its condition. It comes with an old hardshell case but we don't believe it to be original to the guitar.The tuners were replaced but the original tuners are fully functional and in the case.
