The OT-800LN is a 5-string, open-back long-neck banjo designed in the style of classic pre-1920s instruments — a throwback to the “golden age” of banjo craftsmanship. It features a pre-WWII–style Tubaphone tone ring inside an 11" 3-ply maple rim. The extended maple neck with a bound ebony fingerboard and old-time-style inlay gives it traditional looks, and the 32" scale length accommodates lower tunings (e.g. E-based tunings popular with long-neck players). Built with modern touches: adjustable dual coordinator rods (for stable action), a Remo Renaissance banjo head, a maple-and-ebony bridge, a “No-Knot” tailpiece, and GT Master Planetary tuners — combining vintage tone with reliable playability. It delivers the warm, ringing, slightly mellow but resonant tone long-neck/Tubaphone banjos are known for — ideal for old-time, folk, clawhammer, and more traditional banjo styles.
