The E-Mu Mo'Phatt is a 1U rackmount synthesizer module designed for urban dance, hip-hop, and R&B production. Released in 2000, it offers 64-voice polyphony and a 32MB sound ROM called "Pure Phatt," featuring over 1,100 samples including basses, synths, drum kits, scratches, and vinyl effects. The Mo'Phatt is known for its deep editing capabilities, including 50 Z-plane filters, 12 real-time controllers, and a modulation matrix for extensive sound design. It also includes a dual 24-bit effects processor with 76 algorithms, and supports up to 16-part multitimbral operation. The unit is housed in a rugged purple 1U rackmount chassis, making it a durable and visually distinctive addition to any setup.
