Used ADAM Audio A7X Studio Monitor Pair

Description

This pair of ADAM Audio A7X powered studio monitors delivers the detailed, revealing sound that made the A7X one of ADAM Audio's most widely used nearfield monitors. Designed for professional and project studios, the A7X combines a 7-inch woofer with ADAM's X-ART folded-ribbon tweeter technology, providing excellent transient detail and an extended high-frequency response for critical listening.

The X-ART tweeter is a defining feature of the A7X. Its folded-diaphragm design provides fast transient response and detailed reproduction of vocals, cymbals, reverbs, ambience, and other high-frequency information. Paired with the 7-inch low-frequency driver, the A7X offers a useful balance of low-end extension and nearfield accuracy without requiring the footprint of a much larger monitoring system.

For a studio, this A7X pair is ideal for recording, mixing, editing, production, sound design, mastering reference, video post-production, podcast production, and general critical listening. Their detail can help reveal EQ problems, compression artifacts, excessive sibilance, reverb tails, stereo placement, and other elements that can be difficult to judge accurately on consumer speakers.

Each A7X is independently powered, eliminating the need for a separate power amplifier. Rear-panel connectivity and acoustic adjustment controls allow the monitors to integrate into professional audio-interface, monitor-controller, mixer, and studio setups while providing options for adapting their response to the listening environment.

The A7X has since become a desirable previous-generation ADAM monitor for studios that appreciate its familiar voicing and X-ART presentation. This listing is for a matched-use pair of two monitors, making it a complete stereo monitoring solution for a production room, editing suite, or home studio.
