This vintage Ampeg Rocket R-12A brings that unmistakable early Ampeg character in a compact 1x12 tube combo, wrapped in its classic blue check covering and loaded with period correct tube circuitry. The cabinet shows cosmetic wear with torn tolex on several corners, and the speaker has been replaced with a Realistic Nova Series 8 ohm driver. The original footswitch is included.

This amp comes from the era when Ampeg was pushing warm, rich cleans and swampy tremolo tones that guitarists and accordion players alike relied on for studio and club work.
