Overview

The JTS CX-505 is a compact condenser microphone designed for drums and percussion. It delivers excellent clarity and punch, making it ideal for snare drums, toms, and other close-miked applications. Despite some cosmetic wear, this mic performs as intended and is ready for the stage or studio.

Condition

This microphone is in poor condition but functions properly. There’s visible glue where the mic body connects, and the cable entry has some electrical tape that appears to be keeping it secure. The cable itself looks solid, but it hasn’t been opened to check inside. Despite these cosmetic issues, the mic works as it should and performs well.

All used gear is fully tested when it comes into our shop and again before shipping, so you can buy with confidence. Any included accessories will be shown in the photos, and if there are any functional issues, they’ll always be noted in the listing. Since these are used items, you can expect normal cosmetic wear that doesn’t always show up clearly in pictures. Everything we sell is also available to try in-store, so a little extra demo wear may be present.

We ship to the contiguous 48 states with flat-rate pricing that usually covers the maximum cost (including insurance). If the shipping looks high, send us your ZIP and we’ll get you a more accurate estimate. Orders outside the lower 48 may require additional processing and shipping costs — please reach out before ordering.

Some larger or fragile items (like big amps, drum kits, or cabs) may not have a shipping option listed because they’re safest for local pickup. If you’re not sure, just contact us and we’ll confirm if it can be shipped.

You have 48 hours from delivery to let us know if you’d like to return an item. Buyer covers return shipping, and a 20% restocking fee applies per store policy.
