These vintage Avedis Zildjian 14” hi-hats come from the highly desirable pre-serial era, likely produced between the mid-1960s and late-1970s. Featuring the classic “Avedis Zildjian Co – Genuine Turkish Cymbals – Made in U.S.A.” stamp, these cymbals represent the golden era of American-made Zildjian production.

Unlike modern A series cymbals, vintage Avedis hats from this period are known for their warm, musical character, complex wash, and smooth, buttery response. Expect a balanced, articulate “chick,” controlled shimmer when closed, and a rich, organic wash when opened up. These are extremely versatile hi-hats that sit beautifully in rock, jazz, funk, blues, and studio settings.
