This Conn Director Bb trumpet is a dependable student instrument that has earned a reputation for durability and solid playability. Based on the "P" prefix serial number (P-71999), this trumpet dates to approximately 1971. It features the classic Conn "Shooting Star" engraving on the bell and includes an excellent assortment of accessories, making it a great complete outfit for students, school band programs, or anyone looking for an affordable backup horn. The trumpet comes with its original Conn hard case, a mouthpiece, and five different mutes for a variety of playing situations.

The instrument has been tested and is in good playing condition. The valves and slides operate properly. Cosmetically, it shows normal wear from use, including lacquer wear, scratches, and small marks throughout the finish, but no significant damage that affects performance. The case is structurally sound with normal cosmetic wear expected for its age.
